Dear TDAB Family,

As you know, my son and wife arrived in the UK safely and I am very much enjoying fatherhood:)

This is the most wonderful year of my life. When I hold my son in my arms, I can feel it. When I take him to the back garden, I can sense his delight in the plants and my arms around him. For the first time yesterday, he actually held some leaves and plucked them from the creepers that run onto the garage walls. It was amusing to see how he did it as he is exercising his eye-hand coordination. Believe me, it's brilliant. It has a sense of responsibility, a sense of pride and a sense of extreme care. Although I do not get to spend much time with my son, I try to take time to hold him for brief moments in the morning before I leave home for work, early morning I wake him up to spend sometime before I do podcasting and for about 30 minutes in garden in the evening. I sing to him and to my surprise he listens to it :) which tells me, he honours his father :) (That's 5th commandment).

I was wondering how our Heavenly Father is taking delight in our deeds, small acts of kindness, love towards others, being testimony of His love...etc because He is not busy like we are and He is always willing to be with us! He is taking care of us even though we forget Him. He is taking delight in protecting us. He is providing the best of everything for us. The Bible says, He has inscribed us in the palm of his hand (Isa 49:16). How awesome! When I think about it...inscribing us on his hand, how protective it is! How carefully He is holding us. How affectionately He is carrying us. Even though we do not recognise His protection, love and care in many instances, He is carrying us through. Even though we do not understand why we are going through in what we are going through, His hand is protecting us, restlessly, sleeplessly and ceaselessly! And even though we sin, He made an untimate sacrifice for us. He sent his 'Only Son' to die for you and me because He loves us so much that He do not want us to NOT have eternal life. He want us to be with him forever, in heaven. That's how our Heavenly Father is operates in love!

The questions I ask to myself ...Did I do or say or think anything that did not please God today? I am I right with God today? The answers should be 'NO' for the first one and  'YES' for the second one EVERYDAY, if not, I'd better kneel down and PRAY!
