1 Kings 18:37-39 "Hear me, O LORD, hear me, that this people may know that You are the LORD God, and that You have turned their hearts back to You again." Then the fire of the LORD fell and consumed the burnt sacrifice, and the wood and the stones and the dust, and it licked up the water that was in the trench. Now when all the people saw it, they fell on their faces; and they said, "The LORD, He is God! The LORD, He is God!"

Feb - 08 - Pray to the Father by the Spirit in the name of the Son

We have already dealt with praying in Jesus’ name. Our prayers should be addressed to the Father

‘Do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him’ (Col. 3:17);

‘present your requests to God’ (Phil. 4:6).

And our prayers should be with reliance on the Holy Spirit: ‘Pray in the Spirit on all occasions’ (Eph. 6:18);

‘the Spirit helps us in our weakness’ (Rom. 8:26).

The Trinity is involved when we pray.

It's worth a thought..
